Re: Vancouver dealer recommendations?

I used Eagle Ridge GM on Barnet Hwy. The salesmans name escapes me right now but I have his card in the car. My wife is away for the weekend in the car. I will check on Sunday evening for his name. He was not super knowledgable re the car itself (it was the first one the dealership had received) but...

Re: BOLT SEAT ISSUE - no DATA thread

So you agree that the seats as supplied are not comfortable. I have a Bolt, the first sold in British Columbia I'm told. It has 14,000 Km's on it. I also own a Kia Soul EV. I have a $25 foam base cushion and $25 padded seat cover on the drivers seat. My car is waiting for warranty repair of the seat...

Re: BOLT SEAT ISSUE - no DATA thread

I am 5'7" and 165lb. I told the salesman about how people are complaining about the seats on the internet forums and he told me the seats are a problem for people who are about 220lb but he added people with that weight pretty much have problems in any type of seat like an airplane etc. I have...

Re: BOLT SEAT ISSUE - no DATA thread

I saw the Bolt for the first time yesterday and was very eager to sit in the front seat. For whatever its worth the 5-10 minutes that I sat in the Bolt Premier the seats seemed quite comfortable. If you don't mind sharing, what is your height, build. Having read just about every post on this and an...

Re: BOLT SEAT ISSUE - no DATA thread

Drove the Jupiter II a hundred miles yesterday and concentrated on the "problems" with suspension & seats the whole way. Suspension...? Excellent compromise between absorbing bumps and great feel/handling for a small car packing half a ton of batteries! Seats...? Firm, supportive, com...

Re: Bolt Front Seats Recall Media Campaign

That's a nice response. And I wasn't trying to be argumentative. I'm Just baffled why some actual purchasers didn't spot the issue when evaluating the car. If it was that uncomfortable it should have been a "deal breaker' and the unhappy folks should never have become unhappy owners. Just sayi...

Re: Bolt Front Seats Recall Media Campaign

I have to ask: If spending only a few minutes in the car you find the seats so unbearable - why did you buy the car? That's tanamont to admitting that you didn't do a very careful assesment of your potential purchase. The same can be said of complaints about the suspension. Even a reasonable test d...

Re: Doug Score Review = 59/100

When I saw 59/100 I was concerned but having now watched it I see it is actually a good rating on his scale.
Good review that I agree with in a lot of areas. I hope Chevy have seen it and take heed of his very few gripes.

Re: Bolt Front Seats Recall Media Campaign

A leading car maker aiming to break new ground should be making sure that "Satisfactory" is the way someone who doesn't like the seats describes them. They are losing sales because of these seats. Thank you for the missive. I must say this for the umpteenth time: instead of suffering, do ...
