Re: Metallic Grinding Sound at Low Speed

I think if you are careful, you will find that it goes away at 15 and comes back at 14 mph. It is indeed the pedestrian warning signal.

If you are not sure, you can disconnect the pedestrian warning signal machine by the left wheelwell and see if it goes away.

Re: new Bolt extended warranty a good idea or not?

Another important consideration is the mileage limit. If the warranty is 10 years/50k miles, it's basically useless

Re: 120 volt charge cord included?

Mine also came with two cords, but apparently it was a factory option, because they wouldn't take it off the price, even though I didn't want it.

Now I have two of them. :|

Re: LT Options - what's worth it, what's not?

I think the driver confidence stuff is not really worth it. The blind spot monitors work fine, but you still have to move your head to be safe. The "rear park assist" is way too sensitive -- it beeps very loudly when you are not that close to anything. The rear cross-traffic alert only rea...

Someone posted this on another bolt forum. If your tax liability is not at least 7500, you can create a taxable event to increase your tax bill in order to take full advantage of the credit. One example to create such an event is to rollover from a traditional IRA to a Roth, so you pay the tax on th...

I have also noticed that 6 o'clock is indeed the hottest place on the wheel. Who puts their hands there?

Re: Bolt as a wifi-only device

Some have speculated that the car turns off if it doesn't sense anyone sitting in the seats, and that perhaps a heavy weight in the driver's seat would prevent shut down, but I think I have been sitting in the seat when it shut down before.

PS you stole my nickname for my car. Very clever.
