Re: Backup Guidelines Do Not Always Come On

Yes, I've noticed that on my Bolt LT ever since I got it end of August last year. The delay of the lines showing seems random and inconsistent in how much delay I see each time. I've never considered it a problem per se, just "one of those things".

Re: What do they want to know?

I guess people around me are more ignorant. They often ask "does it have enough power to go on the highway?". It's fun to observe their reaction when we get to the highway access ramp and I "demonstrate" - especially if I've put it in Sport mode. GM really does need to advertise ...

Re: Is there any way to have the fan on and heating and cooling off?

I got my Bolt LT end of August last year and have used the heating / air system many times with the fan on and the Heat / AC & recirculating off - just as you have yours set - and it's always delivered air at outside temp. Just as an example, the other day I was driving with temp set to 74 while...

Re: Bolt roof blocking garage door opener signal.

I have noticed similar signal issues with all my vehicles, not just my Bolt. And not just my garage door opener but also the gates in our community (opened by another button on the opener). It seems the opener signal is "weaker" or interfered with if it's close to the metal car roof like w...

Oil leak from front axle

Yesterday I watched the YouTube videos Weber University created about removing and disassembling the Bolt battery - well done and very interesting. It gave me a new appreciation for how thoroughly GM has thought out and designed the system - and of course, how well LG has designed the batter pack. O...

Here's the link to the download: https://mega.nz/#!mgZyVZLY!tGpiKZFNU1OCcacgC3clCfP0jz2Z4q873JnRd0YpxWg I did a search on "chevy bolt infotainment update to 14.4.2". Then picked the link titled "Chevy Bolt 14.4.2 Radio Update SPS download - YouTube" with the link: https://www.you...

Re: Infotainment Software 14.1.0 to 14.4.2

UPDATE: I proceeded to download Infotainment 14.4.2 and installed it as indicated in and earlier reply. Everything went smoothly and I now have V14.4.2, with the full screen used. Android Auto could be improved to make the display better but at least now the full screen is used for maps, etc.

Re: Infotainment Software 14.1.0 to 14.4.2

I have V14.1.0 also and wanted the 14.4.2 update because I understand it displays Maps (from Android Auto) to full screen. Same as you, my dealer did not find the update listed for my Bolt. So I contacted GM directly and was told the 14.4.2 update is to fix problems with a version earlier than mine ...

Re: Costs of installing Level 2 charger in St. Paul, MN

We now live in Nashville but used to live in the Twin Cities so I know how cold it can get. When I got my Bolt in August, I first tried using the charge cord that came with the car but not satisfied with the slow charge rate at 110. Also noticed how warm (even hot) the cord got when set to 12 amps. ...

Re: headlight adjustment

I had the same issue. Thankfully, adjustment is really easy. There is a white plastic Philips head adjustment screw under the hood behind each headlight. They're just behind the metal frame piece that runs diagonal, behind where that diagonal frame pieces are connected to the sides / fenders. They h...
