Re: Problems, Bugs, Weird Stuff, Glitches, Concerns Here

Then I drove 15 miles and tried a Level 3. It worked fine on the first try. I did a Level 3 charge from 30% to 70%. Then I drove across the same parking lot and tried a Level 2. It worked normally on the first try. What’s up with all that????? Not sure if this was a hardware or software glitch. But...

Re: Head, backup lights go on in daytime when car is unlocked

.
Thanks everybody,

I turned off the 'vehicle locator lights' feature & enabled 30 second 'exit lighting'.

Now the head, backup lights stay on for 30 seconds after I turn the car off ONLY at night.

Head, backup lights go on in daytime when car is unlocked

. Hi All, When I use either the fob or the button on the door handle to unlock the car head lights and backup lights go on automatically (day or night). I like this feature at night but why in the world would it be appropriate during the daytime? Seems like an unnecessary drain on the battery. AJ

Re: Incentives that kick GAS

-- California now has grants for new or used clean air vehicles. Low income folks can get a $2,500 grant for a hybrid vehicle or a $5,000 grant for a plug-in hybrid or electric vehicle. Battery electric vehicles can also include a charging unit and its home installation. "The Clean Vehicle Assi...

Re: Bolt Operating Questions

Hi gwn, -- I concur with your observation that driving an EV in city traffic is WAY better than a CO2 polluting ICE car. I would also add that the noise ICE cars produce is quite annoying. .. 8-) .. The highway speed which is a good trade-off for me between best range and timeliness is 62-63 mph. Ab...

Re: Need help with leasing numbers in the bay area

My lease has a $600 processing fee at the end which seems a bit high for the damage inspection, etc... grrrr!

Re: 1st time charging: partial failure

Making or buying the adapters to convert your car's 110V standard charging device to 12 amp 220v may be a good choice for you. see this link: http://carcharging.us/adapt/bolt-240.php If you have a 30 amp 220v dryer circuit available this could potentially give you 7-10 miles per hour of charge time,...

Re: Rate Chevy Bolt

8.5 to 9 .. I really like Android Auto navigation but it would be nice to have some mapping native in the car when I'm not targeting a destination. .. (loaded via a Micro SD card like my 2015 KIA Soul EV had) .. The seats are adequate for me but could be improved. Other than the above points I would...

Tire Pressure, Miles per kWh & Range ..

Hello, After noticing that at the recommended 38 psi the standard tires on my Bolt EV were constantly losing air slowly.. Kind of annoying having to top up the pressure every three weeks or so. I decided to over inflate them slightly to 43 psi & see if this situation continued. .. It stopp...
