Re: Trailer Hitch

How doestThe trailer behave in everyday life? To be clear, I haven't attached a wiring harness so therefore cannot trailer, technically. I have only attached a bike rack. Does it move/swibg fully loaded eg. 4bikes (200lbs)? It is remarkably stable with 3 bikes installed. There is very little side t...

Re: Bike racks

I haven't purchase a rack yet, but I'm looking at a Thule Camber 4. Anyone have experience with that?
Also, I just finished a DIY install of the Torklift Ecohitch. If anyone is interested, the video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0at9yzID5ss

Re: Trailer Hitch

Here's the video I did of a friend and I installing the Ecohitch with the cut that @NeilBlanchard did: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0at9yzID5ss Thanks for forging the path! In the meantime, etrailer put out a very clear video of the install as well (they do the standard cut though, and skip over ...

Re: Trailer Hitch

Thanks for your response. We actually did the install about 2 weeks ago and it worked out great. thanks for you advice. I made a video of our install that I'll be uploading shortly to help others do your great fascia cut. We used a drill as well. Hardest part for us was not having the right tool for...

DCFC tapering at 150 amp station

I've posted this in other forums so apologies if you've already seen it. Posting here for those who don't cross into other forums for their Bolt info. This is the third and final planned video on how tapering works in optimal conditions for a Bolt. This is for a 150 amp (or more) station. 55kW is th...

2000 mile road trip from New York to Nova Scotia

I made a couple videos intending to reach people either new to the Bolt, thinking about a Bolt, or wondering if longer road trips are possible in an EV. The style is a little bit travelogue and a little bit geek out on the car. Hopefully enough of one if you don't like the other (There are links to ...

Re: Trailer Hitch

Hey NeilBlanchard, thanks for posting the pics. I just ordered the EcoHitch and will be undertaking the installation with a more experienced friend when it arrives. I also hope to cut a hole, as you did, instead of cutting all the way through the fascia. Aside from breaking the plastic clip on the b...

Re: Possible to disable rear heated seats?

Reopening this conversation. Curious if btmspox ever tried pulling the fuse for "Seat module rear" and if so what happened. Was searching for this capability for the same reasons. Also, there's a warning in the manual that says: Do not place anything on the seat that insulates against heat...
