Re: Battery usage while idling

Technically, the Bolt doesn't "idle". The electric motor is not spinning when you're sitting still. This is different than a typical ICE which needs to continue to run at a slow speed to stay "on". That's a good part of the reason why you use so little electricity when sitting st...

Re: Infotainment problem?

A number of people have reported experiencing this issue on this and other Bolt forums. Apparently, it happens now and again. Once the system "clears", everything seems to work fine. I don't think there's anything to concern yourself about. If this happens again, you can also attempt to re...

Re: Leather seat wear problem

Your images aren't attached. Also, I have not noticed any wear at all. I'd highly suggest you take it in to the dealer and see what they can do for you.

I think that EVgo is sending out various offers...not sure what the criteria is. I received an offer for a reduced charge of $.10 per kWh.

Re: Need help with leasing numbers in the bay area

Are you guys having the same problem with this forum as I? When I click on "Need help with leasing numbers in the bay area", I seem to pull up a discussion about what new GM EV models will be coming out in 2019. :)

Re: Need help with leasing numbers in the bay area

Seems a little high. I leased a fully loaded Premier from Dublin Chevrolet for $399/mo including taxes for 36 months and 45k miles. Drive-off was $1,800 (compared to your $6,400). Figuring (roughly) that $5400 of your down payment reduces the monthly payment by $150, it seems kind of a high lease co...

Received an email from Dublin Chevrolet today (California) that they're offering $4,500 off their stock of 2018 Bolts.

Re: LUG NUT KEY

I just checked my wheels and I don't have any locking-type lug nuts. They all can come off without a lug nut key/socket. Are yours a Chevy option, or did the dealer add them to the car's invoice? In any event, you certainly want to get a new key/socket before you have a flat tire! I'd be firm with t...
