Re: 4G Hotspot poor performance/radio reception

The OnStar rep did some update in real time while I was talking to her.

Re: 4G Hotspot poor performance/radio reception

I’ve never been happy with my $20/month unlimited data WiFi.

I had OnStar update it once but the performance is spotty.

I keep it now because it might help in the hills for my Uber app connection.

Congrats to you on using the Bolt for Uber! You are making something like 15%-20% more that your gas burning co-workers, I believe. Bolt is the perfect Uber car. I am averaging about $1/mile income with a cost of about 4 cents per mile for electricity. I have 19,000 miles left on my lease and I fig...

Does any Bolt EV leasee here have any experience with negotiating a year extension to their existing lease; whether GM Financial or otherwise?

For the right amount, I may just do that and wait out the 2020 release of the newer long-range EVs.

If you are willing to make your calls using your existing phone via Bluetooth, then a 7" Android tablet or cheap Android phone can do the trick for the rest... Interesting alternative! I find that once I connect my iPhone by USB for Apple CarPlay, that Bluetooth connectivity to any other iPhon...

Re: charging cable for sale

You can get an AV TurboCord for about the same price.

Works on both 120v and 240v and packs into a small footprint case:

This guy trolls me on this forum and makes all sorts of contrarian posts in response to mine! He was suspended after the mods had to censor one of his posts: http://www.mychevybolt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=8444&p=33345#p33345 I didn't realize it was him on this thread, until I then rea...

Re: Safety issues

From a general safety standpoint you should have your brake covered when stopped anyhow. Obviously, this will turn the lights on. Why? I enjoy the habit of "one foot driving" that I have developed with my Bolt EV (so much so that I have to remember to train myself the opposite way when no...

Re: Where are all the Bolts in MN?

Just curious, since I live in Los Angeles: How much percentage drop on battery capacity do you see in cold weather, not factoring in the requirements for heat? The two or three times I have driven here in our "cold" weather, I was able to use the seat warmers 100% and steering wheel warmer...

Re: So are we all going to end up buying our cars after our leases are up?

Why buy at lease end (my residual is $25k+) when you can buy a brand new one for under $30k and get the full tax credit right now? I'm looking at buying one right now even though my lease isn't up for a year. Under $20k with California rebate and it will keep me from going over my 45k lease mileage...
