Re: Auto braking question

I also have never experienced braking as I always react to the warning. In my original 2017 Premiere, the dashboard indicated the lane-change feature, but I never felt anything. Now in my 2019, I clearly feel the steering working against me if I change lanes without signaling. Also on freeway lane d...

Re: AAA: EVgo waives the monthly membership fees

As a side note, I think EVgo's DCFC rate structure of charging by the minute sucks for vehicles with low DCFC rates and it's horrendous if someone is trying to simply fill up for a long trip out into the boondocks. It is what it is, and if there is no alternative available, then it is merely one co...

Re: Carplay switches audio

Interesting! Let us know if your situation changes. Uber navigation instructions still grab back the audio into CarPlay from my satellite SiriusXM subscription. I still have to use the SiriusXM App as a workaround for now. I am now due for my 15,000 service and I will ask them to update the softwate...

Re: So are we all going to end up buying our cars after our leases are up?

Anyone turn one in yet? Anyone negotiate the residual? My 2017 is up Feb. 4th... My 3 year lease commenced January 3, 2017 and I projected that I would hit my mileage cap (45,000) by mid September. I did not want to “waste” any payments on mileage penalties, so my decision was to buy out my lease f...

Re: So are we all going to end up buying our cars after our leases are up?

Now I'm tempted to just bring in a check at lease end and be done with it. Plus, I'd keep my red CA HOV stickers. What would y'all do? Sales tax is a big factor in California. When you purchase the lease at the residual you must also pay the outstanding sales tax (and license fees of course). Consi...

Re: OEM Tire warranty

My 2017 Bolt EV had the original tires on it as I returned the lease at 44,640 miles.

Re: Carplay switches audio

I have the iPhone 6+ connected to Apple CarPlay with the Uber and Waze apps active all of the full time I drive Uber. The SiriusXM radio goes off every time I hear the Uber navigation but stays on steady when I use the Waze navigation. My workaround when I use the Uber navigation (for example on POO...

Re: Goodbye to my Beloved Bolt

...I miss the spirited one-pedal driving of the Bolt. I think the Bolt has the best on-pedal implementation af all the EV's I've owned ( Tesla Model S P85D, BMW i3 REX, and now Audi eTron) and also the energy display panels... Enjoy your Bolts, I still think it's the best little EV out there. I AGR...

Re: Bolt accessory button questions

As an Uber driver, I would love to see an aftermarket on/off switches on the front dashboard for the two backseat warmers.

...They had rebates at the time for $6091, which brought my total down to $10,654 (after taxes and including wear and tear protection). -$2500 (CA rebate) -$1000 (So Cal Edison)... Now, after 2 years, I've run 34k miles on the car. The lease residual is stated as $25,745. I can buy a new Premier (M...
