Re: Safety issues

This guy trolls me on this forum and makes all sorts of contrarian posts in response to mine! He was suspended after the mods had to censor one of his posts: http://www.mychevybolt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=8444&p=33345#p33345 I didn't realize it was him on this thread, until I then rea...

Re: Safety issues

From a general safety standpoint you should have your brake covered when stopped anyhow. Obviously, this will turn the lights on. Why? I enjoy the habit of "one foot driving" that I have developed with my Bolt EV (so much so that I have to remember to train myself the opposite way when no...

Re: Where are all the Bolts in MN?

Just curious, since I live in Los Angeles: How much percentage drop on battery capacity do you see in cold weather, not factoring in the requirements for heat? The two or three times I have driven here in our "cold" weather, I was able to use the seat warmers 100% and steering wheel warmer...

Re: So are we all going to end up buying our cars after our leases are up?

Why buy at lease end (my residual is $25k+) when you can buy a brand new one for under $30k and get the full tax credit right now? I'm looking at buying one right now even though my lease isn't up for a year. Under $20k with California rebate and it will keep me from going over my 45k lease mileage...

Re: Finally! For $249 I have a permanent Nav and no longer have to plug/unplug my iPhone for CarPlay!

Not ready for prime time :( After a few days the SE without a SIM stopped working in making phone calls cloned over to my other iPhone. It still receives calls and sends and receives text through Apple CarPlay. I checked with Apple and they said they were surprised it actually sent calls those init...

Re: Finally! For $249 I have a permanent Nav and no longer have to plug/unplug my iPhone for CarPlay!

So you bought a map option for less than Chevy would have offered it (if they offered it at the same price as the Volt nav), which can be carried with you into any car you want, with free map upgrades. Any Nav in a Nav-less storm!! The key was getting it to make/answer phone calls and iMessag...
