Re: experience with lease return process?

Get all of their responses in writing! Or in email! You can't prove "what you were told" and they can change their mind later. Back in 2002, VW had an internet ad saying that buyers of new beetles would get in a new iPod for free with purchase. After my daughter bought one, I asked the de...

Re: Chevrolet announces update to all 2017-2019 Bolts with fast charging

I teturned to Mojave one week later and the 350 Kwh EA’s were not working so I used a 150Kwh EA

With about 40 miles on the GOM it started charging at 50 Kwh!

Re: Should I buy a 2020?

Congratulations! Before the lock down order, I used my Bolt EV to drive the 170 mile roundtrip to Mojave, California in Kern County to get better availability to groceries than in Los Angeles. I am considering some further drives as an alternative to shopping for groceries and Rx locally, while brin...

Re: experience with lease return process?

i didn't realize there was a lease return fee but.. I was the first 2017 Bolt EV off the lot of my dealer. Their Term Sheet never mentioned this fee which was a new addition to the GM Financial lease terms, as they knew. As I was signing all the paperwork to finalize the deal, I blew a cork when I ...

Re: Should I buy a 2020?

Of course, I recharged at a Terrible Herbst DCFC in Las Vegas.

Almost all of it was used (3% remaining) on the return leg to Victorville which is uphill.

Re: Using EVExtend on the Bolt EV for emergency 120V up to 1,500 watts

Given the chaos currently circling the globe, I purchased and installed the EVExtend system for my 2019 Bolt EV and the VertaMax Pure Sine Wave 1500 watt inverter. I have an 100' extension cord that runs from my garage to my apartment and I tested it with my refrigerator/freezer and it works fine. I...

Re: 2020 owners!

Another "bad" change. (Not sure what year this change happened.) In my 2017 you could press the fan speed button repeatedly and the speed would decrease .... 3, 2, 1, 0 with zero being off. In the 2020 the fan speed stops at 1. There is no way to turn off the fan via button. Only touch sc...
