Re: Cruise Control Freezes After Braking

As expected, hitting the break during CC made no difference in my journey compared to your problem. I don’t know if you are in an urban environment but look for an “independent” repair shop that specislizes in EVs and if they are able to fix the vehicle, present Chevy will the bill for reimbursement...

Re: Cruise Control Freezes After Braking

I rarely brake when I use cruise control on the highway in L on my 2019 Bolt EV If traffic ahead of me slows or I want to deactivate CC, I lift my foot off the accelerator or pull the Regen Paddle on the left inner steering wheel or both. If I want to continue CC, I then push Resume on the sterring ...

Re: HD Surround Vision

... some people are going to say "wow thats so cool - where is the camera" - at which point you explain there is a sateliite that tracks your car. When they ask how its working in a parking garage, tell them its a high band radar, similar to x rays - that's why the color of the car is off...

Re: Adding DC fast charge after purchase?

Here is a stupid question. Can a non-fast charge Chevy Bolt use the css charger for just level 2 charging? If you do not have the capacity to use CSS DCFC charging in your Chevy Bolt EV, then invest the in adapter that allows you to use the Level 2 Tesla chargers that many hotels/motels installed o...

Re: How do you disengage the cruise control in single pedal L mode?

I was just using CC on my drive back from a leisurely run to Mojave to get out of the house, enjoy a beautiful drive with the winds blowing more than usual in the high desert and do some Covid-safer grocery shopping out at their Stader Bros. 160 miles roundtrip, but I was using the heater and the tr...

Re: Towing behind RV/ regenerative charging

Problem.... tho.... I think the weight / seatbelt sensor needs to feel a person in the seat. . I thought it was only necessary to be in the seat to start the car, not keep it in drive after you get up... As an owner of the EVExtend Power System, I am also interested in an answer to this problem. In...

Re: Wireless CarPlay adapter

This is not for wireless charging.

This device allows my iPhone to connect to Apple Carplay wirelessly, so I can keep the phone in my pocket.

Re: HV battery capacity

I definitely notice an improvement in range on my 2019 over my 2017.

Just anecdotal

Re: News about Bolt Battery Fires

But my sense is that the physical and legal risk only becomes substantial if I turn off "hilltop reserve" and charge above 90%. Or the risk that the software somehow resets itself back to 100% and you’re forced to prove otherwise with evidence reduced to ashes! But that is easy for...
