Re: Questions about Tire Sealant and Comoressor Kit

I had the tire sealant kit and compressor in my 2014 Volt. I had to use the kit 4 times as the Volt seemed to attract nails in the rear tires. After the initial use, I filled the cannister with Green Slime, and continued using the setup. I did find removing the valve core, made injecting the green s...

Re: Regen question

Before the purchase of my 2019 Bolt I had a 2014 Volt. I loved driving in L and most of my driving I was able to use single pedal driving. The Bolt had me confused the first time I had a battery at 100% charge and noticed there was no regen. I thought something was wrong until I thought how can I ge...

Very easy purchase, and even though the extended warranty was mentioned once and not again. I did purchase it for a few extra bucks a month, but I've had to use the extended warranty...

Re: Delayed charging just defaults to next day

Read a few posts that it's a good idea to only charge the battery to 80%. I figure even at 80% charge I will have more than enough battery capacity for 99% of my driving needs. Note really sure if it matters, since I kept my 2014 Volt fully charged every night, and when I traded it in for my 2019 Bo...

Re: 2017 Bolt 8 vs 12 amp charge

When I purchased my 2014 Volt I used the standard charger until my Clipper Creek Level II charger was delivered. Wired up a 220v 30 amp outlet with the help of youtube and never looked back. Now my 2019 has the option of using quick charge, but I doubt if that would be used often.
