Re: Increasing CarPlay audio volume while keeping notifications volume low?

I don't use WhatsApp, but the next time you hear a notification from it, try turning the volume knob. I've noticed that if I turn the volume knob when navigation apps announce directions, that adjusts the volume of that only. I've used Carplay with my iPhone 8 w/a '18 Hyundai Elantra and '19 Nissan ...

Re: Charge time finish

It seems like the limiter applies to DC FCing. I rarely DC FC but yesterday, I had the limiter set to 90% ahead of time for another reason, DC FC'ed then got interrupted by a phone call. In the middle of the call, charging stopped and I was puzzled whether the car or DC FC stopped it. Couldn't get i...

Re: Charge time finish

BoltEV: Skip to 1:40 of https://insideevs.com/news/339311/video-overview-2019-chevy-bolt-gives-drivers-more-control/. Target Charge Level tab is right. That said, there are no % values anywhere in that UI so you may not find what it stops at to be exact. Let's just say it's ~5%. I confirmed the quir...

Re: Charge time finish

^^^
It's gone from the '19. For '19, you instead have choices of ~40 to 100% with 5% increments. That's MUCH better than having just a hill top reserve toggle.

Re: buzzing, humming, fan blowing while charging???

Yep on the above. https://www.chevybolt.org/threads/battery-conditioning.33279/#post-512173 may help. https://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=565246#p565246 is what it sounds like. And, as I posted at https://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=566540#p566540 When that's going on, not only are...

Re: I just got my ChargePoint Card,

Checking Plugshare for stations along the way is a MUST! Filter by J1772 and SAE Combo, assuming your vehicle has SAE Combo. If you don't have the orange dust cover under an orange flap covering 2 holes for 2 pins, you do NOT have SAE Combo inlet. If you don't have it, then you'll be limited to leve...

I just finished https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULQr96t1vmU. It's 10.5 minutes long. Was interesting. Didn't realize that Opel/Vauxhall had been bleeding cash so badly.

Re: How to make the car follow the charging schedule?

^^^ Thanks! I still have my '13 Leaf SV and through its nav system, the timers are pretty simple albeit a bit limited. The ones on the Bolt look real complicated and I haven't bothered to use them once as I've not needed to charge it at home once yet. I guess I have something to look "forward&q...

Re: So, is my Chevy Bolt really an Opel product?

think Opel is a GM-owned European brand that they put the Bolt under. They call it the Ampera-E or something like that. Yes except the first part is WAS. Yep on what theothertom said. GM sold Opel (aka Vauxhall in the UK) to PSA Groupe. https://www.freep.com/story/money/cars/general-motors/2017/08/...
