Re: Bolt Efficiency, How Accurate?

The most accurate way I know of is to use the "kWh used" value in the "Energy Info" display on the centre screen. It supposedly shows the energy drawn from the battery that's used for any purpose, including propulsion, HVAC and battery conditioning. You have to add a fudge facto...

Re: Bolt EV OTA Update Information

What I am curious about is the version number.

Where do you get that? I have 14.5 but that is for the Infotainment and they updated that months ago at the dealership. But, this update is different correct?

That's a bummer that they are removing .mp4 playback.

They keep trying to block CarStream for android that plays files and youtube, but there's a workaround.

Re: Vehicle software update

About the question of Videos being disabled in firmware 14.4.2: I have firmware 13.xx and videos play OK. To play a video, put an .mp4 file on a USB drive and use the "Gallery" button. Mine came up with tabs for pictures and movies, and just select the file. I found that Hi-Def movies may...

Re: "Full" battery levels dropping daily

I keep seeing this come up and it is not a good idea. Under any circumstances. Ever. Just don't. 110 volt level 1 trickle charger? That's pretty bad.

I hope Chargepoint doesn't sell many of these. Seems useless unless maybe at an airport whereas you're leaving the car for days.

Re: Has anyone had this problem?

Yes, mine didn't seem to want to recognize the key inside the vehicle. I shrugged it off dropped the key in the bottom of the center console where the reader is and it came up.

Worked fine the next time and forever since.

Re: Charging on battery storage with solar charging

Start googling around with grounding/neutral bonding on EVSE and charging on generator.

This subject has come up in the My Nissan Leaf .com side of this website with mixed results.

See if that gets you going the right direction.
