Re: Range indicator said "Low" then Bolt immediately died.

Thanks again Tom. I'm fortunate to not have an issue nearly as bad (for now), as the person in the other forum. I've driven 20,000+ miles since the night it died (right before the new year), but I won't push it and go below 20 miles of range anymore. I'll test it at some point when I have access to ...

Re: Chevrolet announces update to all 2017-2019 Bolts with fast charging

The confusing part is that the manual mentions: "When using a DC charging station with at least 80 kW of available power" while they're limit is apparently at 56kW? CCS 1 stations usually peak at 500 volts, so if the station is capable of 150 amp charging (the peak charging current permis...

Re: Chevrolet announces update to all 2017-2019 Bolts with fast charging

The Bolt manual states our car will DCFC at "up to 75kW".. AJ I believe you're mistaken. The 2020 manual states, "When using a DC charging station with at least 80 kW of available power, it will take approximately 30 minutes to recharge from a depleted battery to an estimated 145 km ...

Re: Chevrolet announces update to all 2017-2019 Bolts with fast charging

I just tried an Electrify America 350Kw charger yesterday in Mojave and was disappointed to see a 34Kw charging rate on the dashboard when EVGo gives me 45! Maybe I need this update for this problem as well. If your traction battery temp is below 75°F, dc charge current will be restricted to less t...

I don't know why, but I didn't receive it. If it's in your outbox and you can easily resend it, Is greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

Range indicator said "Low" then Bolt immediately died.

Right before new year, just under 36k miles, I was driving to a fast charger (4 miles away), as I pulled up to an intersection, my range meter went from 14 estimated miles, to LOW, and then immediately told me it was out of energy and to pull over. I've been to three different dealers (including the...

AND back. lol. Apparently my body and the drivers seat have come to some mutual agreement. I did 800 miles and change yesterday, from Bakersfield, CA to Moab, UT, and am almost to Denver now. I'm headed to pick up tire chains...

Re: Two Broken Records? Cannonball Run and Mileage in 24hrs.

Very cool. Did you only sleep while charging? [BTW, I got here because your post got linked over on chevybolt.org (which I think is the more active forum of the two). I'm a member of both, but rarely stop by here.] Correct you are. I generally charged on 220 while sleeping. Unfortunately the Bolt c...

Two Broken Records? Cannonball Run and Mileage in 24hrs.

On Thursday 11/21/19, I left Tucumcari, NM at 6am local time. I drove to the Portofino Hotel & Marina, arriving at 4am local time on Friday 11/22/19, then proceeded to the Electrify America Charging station @ Del Amo Fashion Center. My total miles traveled in those 24 hours, 1,033.6 miles. https...

Re: Proxmity Sensor on Rear Bumper

My 2¢: If this is no fault of your own, let the dealer take care of it. If you monkey around with it, and there's a future problem surrounding this that you can't handle, they might be happy to reject a warranty claim. I completely understand wanting to fix minor things that you are capable of doing...
