Any ideas on cable chains?

Winters coming.
I was thinking of buying a set of cable chains for my Bolt. Any ideas? Comments?
Thanks

Re: How Much I Paid for My Bolt

I saw this last week: painted on the rear widow on New Bolts in my neck of the woods. $15,000 off MSRP.
These cars did did not last very long on the dealers lot.

Re: More impressive than expected!!

Lets us know on your winter driving.
The snow is coming for me. Also, I am new owner. My first winter with the Bolt.
I have been thinking aftermarket rims, studded tires, and cable chains.
What about you? Thanks

Re: Love my Bolt...HATE the seat!

To me the seats are OK, but I am a new owner and no real long trips.
But I do take one repeated 1 !/2 hour trip (70 miles) mountain driving and seating that long seems OK.

Re: Wants to buy a Bolt

I think he is paying way too much $. Go to cargurus.com and put in your zip code. And search Chev Bolt.
Many Bolts are deeply discounted. You should be able to buy an LT model in the high $20k's.
I have seen new Bolts here on the west coast discounted as much a $14,000.

Re: Can I plug in a solar panel to my Bolt?

Thanks...very interesting.
So, I would better off supplying Solar to my whole house. Which I have thought of doing anyway.

PS there is a Youtube Video showing a man charging his Bolt via Solar. I have not digested it all. Looks to be pretty elaborate.

Re: Can I plug in a solar panel to my Bolt?

Thanks.
So theoretically, would this work?
If I have a solar panel array with controller, and supply this to an inverter,
converting DC to AC.
And then plug the charger that came with the Bolt into the inverter?
Just curious. :D

Can I plug in a solar panel to my Bolt?

With a correct solar panel.....CONTROLLER. I think I read somewhere, I can not. If so. why not? Or provide me a link why not. Thanks.. :D For example... a an array of solar panels , plugged directly into the "side" of Bolt. Or even 1 solar panel I carry on the roof of my car. Thanks.... :u...
