Re: Bumpy Ride - Stiff Suspension

We have a 2013 Chevy Spark with almost 100K miles.
The ride is 100% better than my Bolt.
The Bolt is the harshest ridding CAR, I have ever owned.

PS. Brand new, paid $10K for our Spark in 2013. What a great little car.
Today, the same dealer has them for $11K for 2019 models. What a great buy :D

Re: How common is it to charge 300 miles?

So, to preserve the life of my battery, I should not charge 100% all the time.
I have read on the Tesla 3, to do something like a 10%-90% range???
I almost bought a Tesla 3... the 35K model.
Thanks.

I am new at this forum, so should search more, for previous topics.

Re: How common is it to charge 300 miles?

Thanks for your input. I am new to electric vehicles, so lots to learn. Including the nomenclature. Like miles/kWh. I also had an interesting event. I was returning from a approx 70 mile trip. Dashboard showed 250 miles range. Thru the mountains. Varying terrain, but mostly up hill. Then I hit the v...

How common is it to charge 300 miles?

I did it today. On the dash, I am talking about the middle number, just over 300 miles range.
NOT the TOP number.
I took a pic of my dash, but still haven't figured out how to post the picture?

Car Cover for my Bolt

I did a search on this...no luck.
Anybody have a car cover they can recommend?
A universal fit car cover is OK.
Or a custom fit car cover is OK too.
Plus any recommendation of type of material/ cloth car cover is made of?
Thanks.

Re: So, is my Chevy Bolt really an Opel product?

The only reason I bring up the topic of Opel, is reliability and workmanship.
I can remember when Opel was imported to the USA. Was really a "poor" car.

Re: Rate Chevy Bolt

My biggest complaint is harsh ride. Must be a combination of very stiff suspension/ low profile tires?
Plus maybe weight of batteries. Might even be the worst car I have ever had for "ride". :(
But all in all I really like the car. Lots of pluses.
And yes the seats could be better.

Re: little 12v battery under hood

Thanks. That does clear it up for me.
So, my Bolt has a 12V inverter.
Do you have any idea what the input voltage is from the "drive" batteries?
