Has anyone figured out how to deactivate the alarm system? I absolutely hate car alarms. i find them absolutely unnecessary and by my experience they accidentally go off far too much. Being able to lock the car without an alarm fits my needs completely.

maybe you misunderstood me. i removed all the wood and replaced it with rigid foam. the foam is softer than all things/surfaces contacting it.
Is the suspension any more compliant due to the lighter weight? I wouldn't know how to answer that. All i can say is the over all feel of the car and especially the steering is improved.
