Re: DCQC charging rates

Thanks for the info! FWIW: I didn't notice the brand of charger, but it looked about the size of your first picture, but was horizontal oriented; IE: long dimension horizontal. It has a small window with a readout that tells you what is going on during the handshake phase, etc. Nice pics!! Bosch un...

Re: DCQC charging rates

What are the typical rates of DC quick chargers? Bosch units like what your dealer had can charge the Bolt at around 22kW peak. https://s3.amazonaws.com/plugshare.production.photos/photos/388032.jpg EVgo units seem to be 100 or 125 amp and will charge at about 38 and 42kW peak. https://s3.amazonaws...

Re: Energy detail, energy added

I'm not sure where you got 27kWh from. I get 22.8kW. Hilltop reserve charges to 88%. 88% of 60kW is 52.8kWh. If the car really has "half" remaining, that's 50%, or 30kWh remaining. The difference is 22.8kWh.. I agree with your numbers (I incorrectly used 90% for Hilltop and half of that c...

Re: Energy detail, energy added

My Bolt battery was half depleted but the Energy Detail said: Energy used since last full charge: 18.67 kWh miles since last charge: 44.0. Since using half the battery would mean at least 30 kWh since the last full charge, this does not seem possible. So it must have reset by accident or it glitche...

Re: REFUEL 2017

Is there anyone interested to go to a EV Track day? :D I couldn't attend that one but I was there for REFUEL 2018 on 1st July, 2018. It was an experience of a lifetime running my EV on 11 challenging turns and the world-famous elevation-changing Corkscrew. I'm eagerly waiting for REFUEL 2019. Hopef...

Yes, that is the photo I downloaded from Plugshare and tried to upload as part of my message, as an "attachment." How did you get it to work for you? Open Plugshare, click on the photo, right click the photo and select "Copy Image Address", Paste in the post as Img image HTML ad...

...I am really interested in you experience at the Frazer Park Flying J and ShorePower. I have always wanted to take a shot at driving to the LA area but I just was not comfortable with being able to charge at the Frazer Park Flying J. And, there was no charging available South of Bakersfield until...

Re: WiFi Switch in Settings/WiFi

Hi there! When I switch off the WiFi switch in Settings/WiFi, I am still able to link to the Bolt's WiFi via my Android phone. I expect that this connection would be severed once I switch WiFi off. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks in advance! Jerry Page 146, 147, 159 of the Owners Manual; &q...
