Great. Thank you both. That's what I was hoping to hear. :)

Heat On While Fast Charging?

Hi all, Is there a way to have the cabin heat run while fast charging? I have a road trip coming up which is going to require a stop or two along the way to charge. Normally, I'd go sit inside at the rest area or whatever. But since I'll have the dog with me I'd like to be able to sit with him in a ...

Strange Heat Off Problem Solved?

Hi all, Thought I'd share an observation. I've been baffled for a week or two why it seemed like when I turned the HVAC on, but with Heat Off (and no Auto) the car (2019 Premier) would still blow warm air (with associated display of increased power draw and reduction in GoM range). This issue is rep...

Re: chargers and charging habits

The newer version of the ChargePoint (the Home Flex as they call it) allows variable current: https://www.chargepoint.com/drivers/home/ It's pricey, though. As for charging habits, I can't say comprehensively, but what I've gathered is: ⋅ Don't charge the battery to 100% unless leaving for...

Re: Question for Anyone with Chargepoint Home

On my garage door, the bottom seal ends an inch or two inboard of the edge of the garage opening, with a face seal along the sides covering up the gap. Happily, by notching the side face seal and tweaking the close position of the door there's enough space for the cable to sneak through without bein...

Re: Question for Anyone with Chargepoint Home

Thanks. That was my assumption also, but I wanted to confirm simply because the ChargePoint plug receiver appears to be more of a "contraption" than the holders on other chargers I've seen, which made me wonder if there was some logic built in to do something depending on whether the plug ...

Question for Anyone with Chargepoint Home

Hi everyone, I just ordered a Chargepoint Home EVSE. One question I have is this: I plan to have it mounted/plugged-in inside the garage, but my car lives outside for now so I intend to have the J1772 plug stored in a holster outside when not plugged into the car. Will the ChargePoint care at all if...

Re: How Much I Paid for My Bolt

I just put a deposit on a Premier for $33k out the door (including MD tax). MSRP $44,295. Should be picking up later this week.
