Re: Can anyone confirm using the 2019 seat cushion in a 2017?

Hello there,

To answer my own question, the 2019 drivers seat cushion does fit into a 2017 Bolt EV. While it seems a touch better, being lower in the seat makes the back of the seat painful, so at least in my case, it had no good effect (trying to add extra padding didn't seem to help).

Can anyone confirm using the 2019 seat cushion in a 2017?

Hello there, I have found that the drivers seat in the 2019 BoltEV is notably more comfortable than the 2017. The 2017 Seat Cushion Pad is GM PN 42522759 The 2019 Seat Cushion Pad is GM PN 42643694 Can anyone confirm if the 2019 seat Cushion pad would fit in the 2017? Yes, I have a cushion that sits...

Re: Best solvent to remove California CAV sticker residue?

Hello there,

Goof off worked for me. I didn't let it sit, I just used some elbow grease and the white residue cleaned right off. Made sure it was clean/dry, and put my red stickers on.

Re: Infotainment dead!

Hello there,

2017 BoltEV. My Infotainment screen comes up blank maybe 2ish times a year. I recall doing a hard reset usually resolves it. I've had the steering wheel control lights fritz, but they came back after I parked the car for a bit.

Re: Our 2600 mile CA to OR Trip in our 2017 Bolt

Hello there, I just went 588 miles (Napa to Corvallis) along the same route. Personally, I found the Carl Jr's not very appealing (due to the 30 minute limit). On the way up, I hit Corning (Olive Pit) Redding (Carl's Jr.) Dunsmuir (Yaks) Phoenix (spent the night; the RV park at my hotel was full, so...

Re: End of OnStar Trial

Hello there,

Looking at the myChevrolet app, the "Remote Commands" and the "Vehicle status" sections are still functional.

Re: Range Issues?

Hello there,

Just curious, when you are at work, is plugging the 120V charger in an option? That would get you a couple extra miles, and also let you precondition the interior before you leave...

Re: iPhone and Carplay

Hello there, When you connect with just Bluetooth, you are not using CarPlay, you're just using Nav on your phone, and it's playing the sound thru the Bolt's sound system. When you plug into the front USB ports, CarPlay is activated (if you have enabled it in the Bolt Settings), and it's possible th...
