Re: CarPlay display doesn't match my expected behavior

You want to change the USB Auto Launch setting. On - tells the car to change the display to CarPlay when an iPhone is connected to USB. Off - leaves the display unchanged. CarPlay will still connect but you will have to manually switch to it by using pressing Projection on the home screen or holdin...

Re: The Bolt will lock itself with you on the outside and the key inside !!

What settings do you have the car set to for the auto lock / unlock in the settings screens? I have mine set to not lock with the key in the car and I have left the key with my kid in the back seat and it chirps at me that I am leaving my key in the car and it won't auto lock the car. As a fallback ...

Re: Outdoor cover for my new Bolt

One thing I would be curious about is if a car cover like these would negatively affect the cooling system for the battery/charger. I have noticed when it comes on the fan seems to exhaust out around the front left wheel. If the car cover is over that would it blow it up like a ballon? Make it move ...

Re: Hitch receiver for bike rack?

I installed the C11457 Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" on my Bolt. Got it from etrailer.com Fairly simple install, remove four bolts, place hitch, replace bolts. You do need to cut into the plastic fascia under the bumper. Image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/f5ntord82w...

Re: BOLT DEAD - REPLACING BATTERY...They should REPLACE THE CAR!

This video makes it appear that the install is pretty straight forward. None of the drive components would be affected, just whatever is under the battery to cover/protect it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67jJ90cacV0 Of all of the major components I would be the least concerned about the battery ...

Re: Bolts at VA dealers

I would recommend staying FAR AWAY from Ted Britt. They're the sort of dealer that gives car dealers their (usually unjustified) reputation. They'll take you to the cleaners and refuse to help you. That's why they're happy to sell outside of their area, as they'll never have to support the customer...
