haven't seen that but have had all manner of problems with the entertainment system - carplay disconnecting/reconnecting, lockups, etc. what happened to you seems par for the course.

the onstar lady announced an update when i powered on the car this morning... then offered to install it when i powered down. i think it was v270 or v271. at first i thought it was an entertainment software update but it seems to have been an onstar software update? anyone know?

I saw “google maps announcement” and totally missed the fact it said CarPlay in your comment. oh yeah - what i meant is that if google maps is running, and google tries to give an announcement about an upcoming direction, the software seems to handle the switching between carplay and whateve...

something possibly related... i was expecting a fedex package and received a text that a package was on its way, however, when i checked the details, the text i got referred to a fedex envelope with a PO# of... the VIN of my bolt.

not sure what that's about but i guess i'll find out today.

i just called my service advisor and gave him my VIN and he said there are no new updates. he then told me the update i had done in late april was campaign #18097 which matches the number on the letter i received. so either the article above is erroneous or chevy released this info to the press bef...
