Re: Seat split at the seams

Add me to the list of folks who have this issue. Left side of driver seat exactly as the photos earlier in this thread. Close to 8000 kms on the car. I'm currently waiting for a call back from the service manager to schedule a warranty inspection. I will also be pointing out that the seat back, fron...

Re: Surveys?

I'm at over 3 months and not a thing from Chevy. I have the Maritz survey email for a 2nd time and had a paper version mailed to me also. I have filled out the email on line version and the paper version but I have still received another email. Nothing from Chevy re my concern over the seats either.

Re: BOLT SEAT ISSUE - no DATA thread

Ignoring the fact that after spending 47k Canadian on a car, i have to "fix" the drivers seat. If only it was just a 15 minute fix. As already mentioned the seat back is a problem nobody has come up with a solution for and the overall issue is the seat is simply too narrow in the base and ...

Re: Surveys?

The Maritz survey is the only one I have received. Not much chance to explain your ratings and no real area to explain and point out specific issues (seats in my case). I did however write it on the form regardless. I would love to get an actual survey from Chevy as I want to let them know exactly w...

Re: BOLT SEAT ISSUE - no DATA thread

We now have 8000 Kim's on our Bolt and I can say that hardly any have been by me. The seat is uncomfortable I am driving to work exclusively in our Kia Soul EV. I drove 220 Kim's this weekend (110 each way) to our trailer. Despite having purchased a cushion for the base, the seat is still down right...

Re: Howto: Adding more padding to front seats

As per Flamaest. I have purchased a seat base cushion/cover and that has partially solved the pain/problem from that part of the seat for now pending doing the foam insert. The problem now is that I sit higher in the seat and the widest part of my rib cage on the right is now literally resting on th...

Re: New car sticker for my Bolt

Made me laugh,
and maybe because I'm a Brit, but the only think I thought about was that gas would be extinct when I saw the dinosaur.
Nice one 8-)

Re: Aftermarket seat cushions

I've ordered this one also but not yet arrived. In the meantime I'm using an old wedge shaped cushion that a relative gave us. It's a bit soft so my lower thigh still gets pressure a little but my hips are up above the main pressure points now. Interestingly also the seat back is not digging in on ...

This one fits well enough: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-Front-Seat-Cover-Pad-Car-Seat-Cushion-Cover-Full-Surround-Protect-Seat-/332179033042?var=&hash=item4d5769cbd2:m:mj07tbDoyo28jjJ_UzXAyFQ&vxp=mtr Needed some zipties to hook it down, sort of difficult to tuck inside the hard plastic...

Re: The Chevy Bolt Is the Ugly Car of the (Very Near) Future

I wonder if this same reporter has done an article on the Honda Fit and called it ugly ? If you haven't already noticed, the Fit and the Bolt look quite similar from the outside. A quick search of Fit reviews find almost exclusively positive comments on its looks. I don't find any "ugly"co...
