And don't forget experts estimate GM loses about $8,000 per Bolt sold. Tesla will also have negative gross margins with the Model 3 in 2017, but towards 2H 2018 Model 3's gross margin will turn positive (they are aiming for 25% GM with volume production). source: http://insideevs.com/310-mile-tesla...

Re: Anything on the 2018 model year?

Over @ GM Authority they speculate the lack of detail on order guide for the 2018 Bolt indicates that changes are coming. I am not so sure if that is wishful thinking or just that the guy who puts together the order guide was out on vacation and did not get it finished ;) See all the speculation her...

Re: Anything on the 2018 model year?

And for me having the faster, longer range, sharper handling Bolt is more important than having a Leaf which is inferior in all these areas. Everyone has different priorities. I'll second that motion. And I will "third" that comment. Call it childish, call it a midlife crisis, call it wha...

IMG_20170626_103751921.jpg Kill-A-Watt meters are extremely useful but notoriously inaccurate for very low power devices that enter sleep or low power mode. These type of devices sip a little power from the line periodically to maintain readiness and the Kill-A-Watt assumes that it draws that power...

Re: Problems, Bugs, Weird Stuff, Glitches, Concerns Here

20 days and just 500 miles so mostly operator errors or adjustments to the new vehicle UI. The only "glitch" is one night after disconnecting from public charging, and driving away, the main display was black and the driver dash display said "loading" for several minutes before t...

Keypass with a Moto Z Play

Tried several times unsuccessfully to set up Keypass with my Moto Z Play (Android) phone. I would get to the step in the app after "start setup" where it says "finding the vehicle" and it would always error out and say the vehicle was not found. Finally called onstar and a very h...
