No, it isn't normal and it suggests a problem with your car that needs to be taken care of under warranty. Unlike a gas tank, an EV's range estimate isn't based on a fluid level reading and while a gas car can be allowed to run the tank dry without (generally speaking) causing damage, an EV battery ...

Re: Missing Center Backseat Headrest

Re: DC FAST CHARGING

While OP didn't do sufficient research he does correctly point out that EVs are new technology cars and both dealers and Chevy need to do a better job selling them. I remember going into a dealer to purchase my first Chevy Spark EV, I had already done the research, but I'm not the average person. Th...

Re: Tax credit question

I hope your example was hypothetical. If you only had half of your tax liability withheld during the year you would owe the additional tax and a penalty for having insufficient contributions during the year. But the good news is the $7500 tax credit applies to your total tax liability. Not just the...

Re: Charging in a garage - need venting?

(4) Apply for a permit to install a plug for an electric clothes dryer, using 8 gauge wiring and a 50 amp breaker. Have the electrician install a NEMA 14-50 plug. Then, plug in any 40 amp charger you wish. Agree fully Of course they are going to want to know what you are going to plug into that 14-...
