Re: Pigtail for Bolt

This is the place I bought mine. I walked in. I find the whole subject very confusing, so, if you're gonna buy, call them and tell them exactly what you want!! https://shop.quickchargepower.com/Adapters_c8.htm Rich Ok, I am more confused now... So I have the stock 120V EVSE, and a Siemens Versichar...

Re: Introducing EV-MODS Aftermarket Parts for Bolt EV

I did not start this thread. EVMODS did with a bit of an advertising post. I then asked the following question about one of the products mentioned in that now deleted post.

The coil-over kit...is that bolt-on? Or does it require modification?

Re: How common is it to charge 300 miles?

Thanks for your input. I am new to electric vehicles, so lots to learn. Including the nomenclature. Like miles/kWh. I also had an interesting event. I was returning from a approx 70 mile trip. Dashboard showed 250 miles range. Thru the mountains. Varying terrain, but mostly up hill. Then I hit the ...

Re: San Gabriel Valley to Las Vegas by Bolt EV

Thanks for sharing. A little sparse for fast chargers on that stretch :o . I'm quite surprised at the range aspect though. Seems to me you ought to have made it to Baker no problem and then the other way to Victorville no problem. And in both cases not needing to be sparing. Surprising. But yeah...I...

Re: So, is my Chevy Bolt really an Opel product?

I think I saw somewhere that a Korean design team designed the car. It has Korean batteries. But it's made in the USofA. I think Opel is a GM-owned European brand that they put the Bolt under. They call it the Ampera-E or something like that.

Re: WiFi Switch in Settings/WiFi

Wow, thank you for sharing that tip! It does bother me that turning WiFi "off" through the infotainment system does not actually turn off the signal. Lotsa things about Onstar bother me. I should test turning that off in the app and then see if I can turn it on on the screen and see if it...

Thanks. Do you have the overhead view option? If not then I guess it's just normal. It just seems odd that it wouldn't take the whole screen.

reverse image not full size on infotainment screen

I've done a bit of searching using different keywords. I have a 2019 LT. When put into reverse, the image shows up but it's not full screen. It's to the upper right. There's a bar on the bottom with a guidelines choice and a whole space to the left with some kind of shape that does nothing upon pres...

Re: WiFi Switch in Settings/WiFi

Hi there! When I switch off the WiFi switch in Settings/WiFi, I am still able to link to the Bolt's WiFi via my Android phone. I expect that this connection would be severed once I switch WiFi off. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks in advance! Jerry Hi. New here. About 3 weeks into a 2019 Bol...
