Probably discussed elsewhere but battery conditioning is climate control for the pack, not the discharge from cell balancing. And 90-97 isn't that hot. Oh, make no mistake, I'm positive that with the humidity in Houston that 97 feels like you're gonna die at any second, but the battery doesn't care....

Going to Portland, Maine mid September, wondering if anyone knows of any resources or tricks to rent a Bolt while I'm there.

I know turo is a thing (but no bolts listed, just an old LEAF that I've rented a few times) and Maven is in Boston. Any other ideas / hacks / tricks?

All great points, although I'd imagine that the traction battery contactors are of the "normally open" variety so it's the absence of 12v that disconnects the high voltage. So then I wonder about this.. what if the DC-DC converter was actually IN the traction battery module? Or even a mode...

The Bolt fell out of neutral the moment the jumper cables were removed. The cables were not long enough to get the Bolt on the truck while connected. Not surprised. What a pain in the ass.
