Re: Importing contacts and favorites from Phone to Bolt InfoTainment System?

Deleted my Bluetooth pairing with the Bolt and re-paired - ensuring sharing of contacts enabled -- however this still does not work for me unfortunately. Even went into settings -> bluetooth phone -> re-sync contacts -- and even that did not show the contacts list. Anyone else ran into this issue? I...

Re: Importing contacts and favorites from Phone to Bolt InfoTainment System?

My Android phones prompted me to allow access to my Contacts while connecting using Bluetooth. Thanks, I believe I did allow contacts sharing when pairing but I will check again. I assume when your phone is connected, you see the contact list populated, and favorites shown per your phone contacts s...

Importing contacts and favorites from Phone to Bolt InfoTainment System?

Has anyone got the "Contacts" section of the Phone app in the InfoTainment to work? I never see anything listed under the contacts section -- regardless of whether the phone is connected via Bluetooth or not. Similarly, I have not been able to assign favorites either, but I guess that will...

Re: How does Bolt predict mileage ranges?

I believe I can shed some light on this question. TL;DR: I think it uses an average from the history of the last 100 miles. I did a long tour this weekend on high-speed (70+) highways with AC, and my average efficiency went way down (mid to low 4s in mi/kWh). I did a full charge and the estimated r...

Re: Audible warning for Lane departure and blind spot warning

I watched the blind spot indicators while a passenger in the car and they go off A LOT. They aren’t limited to when you have a turn signal on. So you’d be driving down the freeway and it would be beeping all the time, even if you aren’t changing lanes. That would be too much for everyone. Maybe the...

Re: How does Bolt predict mileage ranges?

BTW, is it just me or does anyone else notice that after recharging their Bolt that the average m/kwh always starts out at 3.9, which equals 234 or just about the 238 mile advertised range for the car, regardless of what the actual average use has been previously? It's just you and your reliable we...

Re: Audible warning for Lane departure and blind spot warning

I can understand not having an audible warning for blindspot. If you are changing lanes, you are looking at your mirror where the warning is indicated. You wouldn’t want it firing every time you have the turn signal on with a car behind you. I have to imagine GM is trying to avoid alarm fatigue. I ...

Re: How does Bolt predict mileage ranges?

It's using "some other average" that they have not explained yet. Probably some sort of rolling average over a week or 2. It has already been dubbed the GOM or Guess O' Meter. Aha! So that is what "GOM" is ;) ... thanks for explaining! Saw this mentioned several times here but w...

Re: How does Bolt decide the mileage values?

I think it seems to be a simple calculation of the miles per kWh and the kWh left in the battery. It doesn't seem to vary until my miles per kWh changes. I drive fairly consistently, but as I have become more familiar with the Bolt I drive more efficiently and the miles per kWh is going up. I drove...
