Re: How to find out the MAC ID of the Bolt WiFi ?

We use MAC ID filtering in our home wireless network to only allowed known hosts to connect. For this to work, I need to know the MAC ID of each device that wants to connect to our network so I can add it to the "white list". Anyone know how to find out the MAC ID of my Bolt's WiFi? For n...

Re: "Check engine" light???

Your car's computer stores a history of the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). OnStar can tell you what values you have stored. I had my check engine light come within a couple days of ownership and then go off within a couple hours. I took it to the dealer and it checked out fine. Yes, I did have On...

You can call them from the car and ask.

Thanks dan! For now the "check engine light" seems to have disappeared on its own, but will make sure to call OnStar if it comes back again.

Re: More juice for charging phone while using Android Auto

If you get the Y cable mentioned above, and put the adapter tip on it that's precisely what this setup does. The red plug on the cable is for power only, the black is power and data. If you plug both into the cars ports then you should get 2 amps of power. If you plug the red into a fast charger li...

"Check engine" light???

Got my Bolt little over two weeks ago and have driven only 181 miles so far. Starting today, seeing the "Service Vehicle Soon" light show up on my dashboard (see bottom right corner of the image below). Anyone else seen something like this with their Bolt? If it persists, will make a trip ...

Re: BOLT SEAT ISSUE - DATA COLLECTION & REPORT HERE

Purchased my Bolt EV earlier this month. Very happy with almost everything about the car ... except the front seats. Like most people reported, they are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The padding is very thin, the seat is too narrow and the hard plastic edge keeps bruising my left thing when driving, and...

Re: How To: Install upgraded telescopic sun visors

I did not order the parts myself, but the part number for one is shown in my photos. It comes up as a 2016 part (2017 parts don't show up yet on many websites). Based on that I believe the Part numbers are as follows: Sun Visor - Drivers Side Left. w/vanity lamp grey; w/vanity lamp, grey. 23223684 ...
