Do you think it's possible to reverse the mounting so that it could be applied to the left side of the center console?
 
Not sure. The make the bracket to fit the seams between pieces of dashboard. So, the top and bottom may not be symmetrical. Plus, I think that it would likely interfere with the Power button since you then have a mount attached to the bracket.
