I was removing my front driver seat to put on my iggee seat covers, and the 2 bolts that hold the seat track in were so frigging tight I couldn't believe it. Even after the initial 'seal' broke, the bolts were tight until nearly 3/4 of the way out. I was scared the bolt was gonna strip or break. Whats up with that?
I moved on to the passenger seat, same deal, but this time being extremely careful to make sure the torx was secureley in the bolt head, it stripped. I got it to turn maybe 1 1/2 full turns before it stripped, now i am screwed. I figured I would get the ole dremel out and grind the bolt head off, got it started but the dremel grinding discs are too small to complete the job, so now i have half a bolt head and am in a tight spot. Why are these bolts in there so tight?????????
I'll figure something out. Can't stop thinking about it. For those of you that said it was an easy 5 minute job, I would have to disagree. Welcome to my world.
