Some of you must be beyond the 3 month Free OnStar trial by now.

If we do not pay for a subscription, what features remain?

Thanks.

The 3 month trial is just for the guidance package. The cheaper subscription, without sat nav, is free for 5 years. It's this one that's needed for remote lock/unlock, cabin preconditioning, etc.

Hello there,

Looking at the myChevrolet app, the "Remote Commands" and the "Vehicle status" sections are still functional.

Basic plan remains for 5 years.

According to https://www.onstar.com/us/en/plans-pricing.html (click "Compare Plans"), this includes:

Advanced Diagnostics
On-Star Smart Driver
Remote Access (app only)
AtYourService (app only)

So to confirm,

Those of you with expried trials can still use the My Chevy App to check charging status, battery percentage, etc. Correct?

Yes, the vehicle status and lock/unlock in the myChevrolet app still works after the OnStar trial is over and you are left with the Basic level.
