I'm so new, I am embarrassed to ask. (Car only has 35 miles on it.) Last evening, the power went off while my car was plugged in at 110 volts. It seemed to think it was being stolen. What is the best response? Should I leave it plugged in? (I turned on, then off, and unplugged.) Well, we are going for drive this morning. :p

I don't think it makes a difference if you leave it plugged in or not.
Having said that, there are instructions all over the internet that will show you how to hook up an inverter to your car which will enable you to power a few small items in your house during a power outage. Another advantage of an EV :D
Enjoy your new car!

The alarm went off because there's a setting where it'll do that. To turn off the alert, select the Energy option, and the Charging Options. The option for this is Charge Power Loss Alert and you can turn it off (I have).
