Is there a recall on this? Local store wants $125 diagnostic fee for a out of warranty 2017 Bolt LT with 36K miles.

Is there a recall or fix for this?

How do I determine my current firmware version?

WTF not covered under warranty?
Your warranty expired at 36K miles/3 years. Chevy might do a good will replacement if you ask.
 
try rebooting the system first, hold HomeKey & FFwrd (on radio by volume knob) for 10-15 sec
