Is the Bolt designed with the SAE combo plug?
If so, why did GM ignore the Chademo standard that's used by thousands of cars (other than Tesla) in the USA and other parts of the world?
Thoughts??

There hasn't been any announcement on what type plug it'll have.

This GM engineer on the right seems to imply it might have Chademo. Start at about 31:00

The Bolt EV will definitely have the SAE Combo plug for DC fast charging. Not only is it visible in press images, it's the standard used by both US (except Tesla) and European electric car manufacturers. The CHAdeMO is used by Japanese manufacturers.

The BMW i3, VW e-Golf and the Chevy Spark EV both offer DC fast charging with the Combo plug. Ford is experimenting with the same plug in the Ford Focus Electric.
