Yep it's true! Anyone on this forum from the Bay area? Maybe you'll be getting yours tomorrow!!!

I live in the bay area but can not get a delivery date. The dealership is Fremont Chevy, the home of Tesla Motors.

Thats exciting. It's a landmark car for sure.

According to one of the first three lucky owners posting on the Bolt EV Interest page on Facebook, 25 Bolts were delivered to the dealership in Fremont on Tuesday, but of those, all but four are going to other dealers as demo cars. So really all those Bolts were lined up just for show. When the real flow of cars will start nobody seems to know.
