Drove an LT with heated cloth seats today. I'm 5 11 and 240 lbs. My rear hits the plastic on the left side of the driver seat. Tilting seat back slightly more than desired seems to fix the problem. I fit fine in our Spark EV. Strangely no issue on passenger side. Wife 5 1 and 140 lbs has no problem. Have a Primier with heated leather seats on order due to arrive next week. Hoping leather doesn't have this issue.

1. LT w/heated cloth seats
2. Leased 2/4/17
3. 34***
4. No pics
5. 5'9" 210#
6. No issues
7. Acceptable -- not great or awful IMO.

Don't love the seats. But have been OK for 30 minute drives.

Three data points for a Premier model:

6'-4" - 225 pounds
6'-6" - 245 pounds
6'-7" - 265 pounds

All three of us found the seats firm and comfortable.

Drove a Chevy Bolt premium and didn't buy. The seats are too narrow and the seat back digs into left side of my back. Nice car otherwise.

For me (5'9, 145lbs.) the seats are excellent and very sporty, aside from the horrid front headrests, which push my head forward and give me a serious stiff neck.
I can't figure out how to detach them from the seats to straighten them up a few degrees - there is no apparent way to slide them up and out like other cars.
-------edit--------
see other thread - removing them is an easy job, as is straightening the legs to move the headrest back a bit...

I am new to the forum. I just leased a LT. The outer edge of the drivers seat is harder then the right side, which makes the seat uncomfortable. I removed the outer plastic which made it 50% better and added a seat pad. It is passable but not great by any means.

Bolt-EV Premiere (purchased): 03/06/2017
6'1" @ 280lbs. I feel the metal frame/bar digging into my thigh/butt. My hips are such that I'm about as wide as the entirety of the seat. So I'm riding _on_ the bolsters. Also the seat back 'wings' dig into either rib-cage depending on how I am orienting myself to avoid/trade off which one should get the torture.

Before I removed the plastic trim, it was the thing that was digging into me. LEAF SL seats were fantastic. The Bolt Premiere seats are about the worst things ever produced. I would rather have coach airline seats. It makes me hate the vehicle. And I _love_ everything else about it. I wish ill upon the 'engineer' that designed them.

As it stands, I have an appointment w/an upholstery shop tomorrow to have the seats re-stuffed w/high-density padding. Hopefully it will be enough. If not, and the 2018 LEAF shows up w/>200 mile range, I will probably have to eat the loss and trade in the bolt for a 2018 LEAF SL (or whatever the == trim level ends up being).

1. Model Bolt Premier leather
2. When bought 21/03/2017
3. Last 5 of your VIN 47152
4. A picture or two if you want/need to
5. Your size/height 5'11" 1/2 180 lbs waist 33"
6. Very brief summary of where you see the issue, a few details, The outside edge of the driver seat is protruding and also very stiff. It's inducing pressure on my thigh which make the seat totally uncomfortable. Getting in and out of the car is also painful since you get in contact with this stiff portion of the seat and the plastic next to it. It worsen the pain every single time.

As a temporary fix I have added a folded towel to raise the middle part of the seat at the same level of the edges but this cannot be a permanent solution for a 50k $ car. Add the fact that with a seat cushion, your haeted seat become useless.

No matter how long I drive the car, 20 km to go to work or long drive, the pain is present. This as nothing to do with fatigue. I have owned many car and never felt so uncomfortable in a car seat. Even my old 2000 Miata had narrow seats but where totally fine.
7. Verdict: Good/Bad? Very bad, GM you need to fix this if you respect your customers and the trusted they put in this new car model.
