remote start using app

Hello, I just got my bolt last week and so far love it.. Maybe this has been asked before and sorry for repeating.. i couldnt find the answer using search..

How do I remote start the car using the App?

is it the precondition "button" do I just tap that or do I have to hold it down like the fob?

On the phone app, the precondition is just a tap and wait (you'll see the "waiting" rotating arrow). When it succeeds, you'll see a green checkmark and time the action was completed.

I use the key fob. It's in the manual. Search the pdf. But it's lock, then the remote start button. You have to hold it for a few seconds. I couldn't get the app to do it.

Works fine in this sequence up to a respectable distance.
