Washington state sales tax exemption

I've been informed that the Washington state sales tax exemption fund is expected to run out of money and end by January or February 2018.

That's not good news for 2018 Leaf and Tesla model 3 buyers.

Dick Muri. He's politically connected since he is a former Piece county council member. He is also the captain of the local National Drive Electric Week.

I don't know how the January/February ending date was calculated, but it does seem possible since there are about 25 Chevy dealers that actually sell Bolts and Volts in Western Washington.

The DOL web site is showing 5,347 vehicles out of 7,500 having used up the tax exemption.

Great info, thanks! The posting of the number of vehicles to date must be a new thing because I have looked for it for a long time.

I think your timeline of it running out is about right. Makes me wonder if they will extended it.
