I had a similar issue with a Kia Soul EV. Changing the cable seemed to alleviate the issue. Suggest buying a few cables on Amazon and seeing which works the best. A tight fitting cable will work best, but may not be possible on a worn phone.

Battery degrades more when it is hot, either from fast charging or from outside temperature. During winter no problem, but degrades faster with summer time usage. The battery will last longer if you can park in the shade versus on top of a hot sunny parking lot.

Sounds promising. Should sell more than the Bolt given the popularity of crossovers and likeliness they will fix the biggest issues with the Bolt like cheap seats and cheap plastics. Will it have adaptive cruise control?

From a former Hyundai employee: it is a compliance car, they throw the batteries where ever they can fit them. Not designed as a pure EV where the batteries are in the floor.
