Took delivery of ours Monday evening. We're in Asheville, NC.

That would account for one aspect of our test drive a couple of weeks ago. The temperature was in the upper 90s and it seemed a long time before the air from the vents was noticeably cooler. Our LEAF cooled off much more quickly than that... Wonder if Chevrolet might be limiting the amount of...

FWIW Bill Nye has addressed this problem in his garage by installing two vents - a low one to let cooler air in and a high one to let hotter air out. Details in his book "Unstoppable", or I'm sure elsewhere...

I got those for my LEAF too. At least they didn't offer to drain and refill the electrons in the HV battery...

Speaking as a former LEAF lessee, I'd like to see you spend three hours in an EV with the heater running at 6 - 9 KW :)

My understanding is that the LEAF lease extension is only for leases ending April 1 or later. We turned in our '14 LEAF last Thursday (3/9), a day before the 36-month lease expired. Looks like we'll be down to one car (an older Corolla) for a while...
