    So are we all going to end up buying our cars after our leases are up?

    For whatever its worth, Nissan during the first few years of lease returns was sending out mailers to people at the end of their lease offering to take of $3-7k from the residual if people chose to keep the car rather than return it. The offers varied based on the trim level/options and when...

    Android Connects and Disconnects

    S7 here, never had this problem. I do sometimes have issues with Bluetooth audio, but I've noticed the phone is switching between LTE and 3G when this happens, and the bluetooth audio resumes working again after the main radio stabilizes. Have also had some issues with Waze crashing.

    Infotainment ===> 15.0

    D still applies regen when you take your foot off the pedal, just much less than when in L mode.

    Infotainment Software 14.1.0 to 14.4.2

    USB stick just needs to be formatted FAT32. Take the .zip file, and unzip it into the root folder. It should have 1 file and 1 folder in root.

    Infotainment ===> 15.0

    1) OTA Updates 2) Ability to zoom out Android Auto slightly. The new full screen mode actually ends up showing less detail from AA apps than the old version with the black bars.

    Infotainment Software 14.1.0 to 14.4.2

    There's a link floating around out there that let's you do the update yourself. I did it on Saturday and it worked fine. You need a USB key formatted to FAT32, then you download the file and unizip it to the root folder. Turn on your car, insert the USB key, and it will see the update and...

    Dan Neil on the Prius Prime

    Does the Prime at least have enough head room for a normal sized adult male to sit upright? The Volt Gen 2 does not.

    "Full" battery levels dropping daily

    I live in the IE and drive to OC everyday. Averaging 4.3 miles per KWh. But here's the thing, I stick to the slow lane in the morning when there's little traffic. My drive home there's a ton of traffic so rarely get about 45MPH. Efficiency is about the same as the Leaf I had previously...

    EVgo road trip check

    At least EVgo maintains their network and fixes their DC chargers quickly. Can't say the same with Blink, Greenlots, or Chargepoint. I talked to the guy behind the CSUF Chargepoint chargers, one of which was offline for over 6 months. He said basically the contractor that Chargepoint used for...

    Waze acts differently in the Bolt

    The Bolt Software doesn't support OTA updates. The only way to get updates at the moment is to have the dealer flash the new software. If you go into settings and check for updates, it will always tell you you have the latest version, but it will show you the version number. I'd start there...

    EVgo road trip check

    And they now have a usable website and app. Took them forever.

    Waze acts differently in the Bolt

    Yes. Got two popups on the drive in to work for police that weren't there. Have you checked the settings I mentioned above? If you don't use AA, do you get the popups? My Bolt software is 14.1.0 Waze: 4.33.0.1 Android Auto: 2.7.543954 (on my phone) Phone: Samsung S7 running Android 7.0 One...

    Waze acts differently in the Bolt

    >In her car, Waze prompts for verification of hazards and cops on the side of the road. I can select a little LIKE button or say the hazard is not there. I'm not following on how these two are different? With Waze some hazards along the road will prompt you with a warning. You can then select...
