We just got Nokian Hakka R3 winter tires on new 16" steel wheels - they are a taller aspect ratio to make up for the smaller diameter wheel. This saved us about $150. The 17" steel wheels were hard to find, and they were 7" wide (vs 6.5" for the stock wheels and the 16" we got). We included...
By drilling the holes at the corner (which is what I did also) the corners are radiused and much less likely to tear or crack. Thanks for the video - it will make the process much clearer.
The clips on the rear wheel arches is the hardest part. We used a drill at the corners of the hole - this makes it possible to use metal snips to cut the edges - and it relieves stress to prevent tears that are likely with sharp corners.

Did you take pictures of the location you spliced into? Do all the lights work - taillight, turn signals, and brake lights? Do you have to open the...
The range estimate is not the way to measure battery capacity.
Your driving, the temperature, elevation changes, weather conditions, road surface, tire inflation, how much you use the heater or A/C - all affect the driving range.
I said about 15 miles, not 15 minutes. That included a brief stint on the Mass Pike. I have been driving EVs for about 5 years, and over 50K miles. The battery pack wasn't too cold to take 50kW. The problem is the wimpy EVgo unit.

I am glad I could help, Ken. The hitch part was easy - even with the closed cutout that my brother and I used; which leaves the plastic intact along the edge of the bumper cover.
The wiring would be easier if the harness was designed for the Bolt EV.
I am going to be getting a 5x8 trailer...
