    rear well modification

The Premier has the Bose woofer in there. I would like to do this, though. I bought a generic scissor jack that really needs a home.

    Winter Tires

We just got Nokian Hakka R3 winter tires on new 16" steel wheels - they are a taller aspect ratio to make up for the smaller diameter wheel. This saved us about $150. The 17" steel wheels were hard to find, and they were 7" wide (vs 6.5" for the stock wheels and the 16" we got). We included...

    Trailer Hitch

By drilling the holes at the corner (which is what I did also) the corners are radiused and much less likely to tear or crack. Thanks for the video - it will make the process much clearer.

Best solvent to remove California CAV sticker residue?

Goo Gone which is an orange based cleaner, is what I have used many times, with excellent results.

    Trailer Hitch

The clips on the rear wheel arches is the hardest part. We used a drill at the corners of the hole - this makes it possible to use metal snips to cut the edges - and it relieves stress to prevent tears that are likely with sharp corners.

    Bumpy Ride - Stiff Suspension

This is something I would like improve, as well. Please Chevy and / or Koni?

How common is it to charge 300 miles?

Last year, we regularly got the median range estimate of 340+ miles. This year, we are using the hilltop start mode.

    Trailer Hitch

Can you link to the wiring kit you used? Edit: found it - https://www.amazon.com/Curt-59236-Multi-Function-Taillight-Converter/dp/B010QCH7VG Did you take pictures of the location you spliced into? Do all the lights work - taillight, turn signals, and brake lights? Do you have to open the...

    Problem: Full charge capacity dropping

The range estimate is not the way to measure battery capacity. Your driving, the temperature, elevation changes, weather conditions, road surface, tire inflation, how much you use the heater or A/C - all affect the driving range.

    DCQC charging rates

I said about 15 miles, not 15 minutes. That included a brief stint on the Mass Pike. I have been driving EVs for about 5 years, and over 50K miles. The battery pack wasn't too cold to take 50kW. The problem is the wimpy EVgo unit.

    DCQC charging rates

I had driven it about 15 miles, so that doesn't seem likely. I think the EVgo unit in question was less than 50kW.

    The Bolt E-U-V

Good winter tires are more important than AWD. In fact 2WD with good winter tires handily beat AWD with all season tires. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atayHQYqA3g

    DCQC charging rates

No, it was about 35-37%. And it was a cool day, only around the mid 40's F or so.

    DCQC charging rates

I used an EVgo unit (eastbound on Mass Pike, near Exit 13) and only got around 22kW, which is pretty disappointing.

    Trailer Hitch

I am glad I could help, Ken. The hitch part was easy - even with the closed cutout that my brother and I used; which leaves the plastic intact along the edge of the bumper cover. The wiring would be easier if the harness was designed for the Bolt EV. I am going to be getting a 5x8 trailer...
