What should I do when the power goes down?

The alarm went off because there's a setting where it'll do that. To turn off the alert, select the Energy option, and the Charging Options. The option for this is Charge Power Loss Alert and you can turn it off (I have).

Questions about Tire Sealant and Comoressor Kit

The compressor and tire sealant kit only came standard on Canadian Bolts. So, yes, assuming you're in the US, only having the tow eye bolt under the false floor sounds right.

    Extending battery life

The expertise on this topic is based on chemistry, not EE, and this is the expert that Tesla contracts: https://www.dal.ca/diff/dahn/about.html Jeff Dahn's simple recommendation is to charge up to 70%, and to 100% when needed. He hasn't said anything specifically about the low end, but that's...

Saw new recall on mychevrolet today

Weird thing that I found was that the new recall isn't listed on the MyChev/MyGM website, but it is on my phone app.

    Battery life

With only a bit over one year on the market, we won't find any data and conclusions on the Bolt's battery longevity. But we can draw conclusions from other EVs, with thermal management systems for their batteries, that have been on the road longer...

    Dead Bolt, battery suspected

Exactly. The "health" of a 12v automotive/vehicle battery is measured on a load tester (at a garage, or many auto supply stores) that tells you the Cold Cranking Amps. Compare that number with the original rating, and you then know if the battery is OK or about to die. CCA is not a literal...

    Door closing difficult

The lower mass of the doors, because of the aluminum used in its construction, also doesn't help in their ease of closing. Coming from a two door sport coupe where the mass of the doors gave them really nice momentum after a gentle push, the Bolt doors need a more assertive closing motion.

    Tips for Long Distance Travel

Those numbers look like they could be how many kwh have been supplied to the car. The Chargepoint chargers list that stat in the data that it scrolls through when it's in operation.

Any concerns with never fully charging battery

On another forum, a member collected data from their Juicebox EVSE that showed cell balancing happens when hill top reserve is on and the battery reaches its "full" charge. That would be the gentlest way for the battery to get it to balance the cells.

    Rear Camera Spray?

I've also found that the lens will eventually get a layer of grime that the spray can't completely clean off, especially with the road salt used up here in Canada for the winter. You can still see an image, but it'll be a bit hazy and and darker. I've just gently rubbed it clean with a finger...

    infotainment screen frozen

You can force a reset by holding down the Home and Fast Forward buttons together until the infotainment resets. If it's not the latest version (14.4.2), the infotaintainment update might help.

    remote start using app

On the phone app, the precondition is just a tap and wait (you'll see the "waiting" rotating arrow). When it succeeds, you'll see a green checkmark and time the action was completed.
