I'd love to see it happen and I'd be glad to pay double for the privilege. Right now there are places it is simply impractical to travel in a Bolt. It's really sad that I can't get from Atlanta to Orlando without a 100 mile detour.

I've charged at a couple of EVgo stations. It always cut off after 30 minutes, but I never had trouble restarting. That part stinks. I think they will change that policy over time as more long range EV's start using the network. I've never heard of a station that made you wait for an hour...

A couple of Kia dealerships around here have free 50 kW chargers. They are Greenlots CCS/CHAdeMO. Sad that I can visit the Kia and get a faster charge than from Chevy.

Right. That's why step #2 says, "shift to neutral". According to someone on the other forum, this allows the wifi to stay on indefinitely (or until the battery runs out - you can't do this while charging). I still haven't tried it yet myself.

I think you misunderstood me. Whether you turn a knob or push a button, it still doesn't turn off the radio. It mutes the whole sound system, which keeps you from hearing navigation. The hack is that you have to somehow switch from radio to some other input and then make sure that doesn't...

Muting or turning down the sound is not sufficient. I want the radio off but I still want to hear navigation instructions from Android Auto/Google Maps. With no sound, that doesn't work. In fact, this very issue led to me missing a turn and going 15 miles out of the way on my last long trip...
