So are we all going to end up buying our cars after our leases are up?

I called "Gm Financial leasing", my lease company, and asked that question a few weeks ago. They informed me that 3 months prior to the end of the lease you will receive a "lease turn in kit" that reminds you what is considered normal wear and tear, minimum tread depth, and a cardboard template...

    Infotainment dead!

I have seen the same thing about 3 times in 19 months. If you do nothing the watchdog timer in the Infotainment system appears to reboot itself after about 3 min. During that same time period, I have had to reboot my phone for some random glitch about 20 times ;-)

Delayed charging just defaults to next day

In my experience you can set different times to be ready each day of the week but it always assumes that if you plug it in you want it charged by the following day at the specified time. If your objective, like some, is to not charge to full but leave the vehicle plugged in for battery...

    Level 2 charger

Correct. They are in the business of removing and replacing the input cord, and would like to protect that business. In addition, as you point out, they are discussing a circa 2011 Nissan EVSE, which I have not seen the internals of. We do know what the internals are for the 2017 and 2018 GM...

    MyLink App requires onstar?

You must have an account, but it is the "basic" service which is free for 5 years.

    MyLink App requires onstar?

how long have you had the car? Was it working before and stopped? If it never worked, have you established an account and added the vehicle, dealer should have helped you with this during delivery. Occasionally there have been reports of it not working at the end of your OnStar trial period...

    MyLink App requires onstar?

No, the app works without an OnStar subscription plan. Remote start (precondition) lock, unlock, tire pressure, charging status, etc...

    Cheap Ebay Chargers 32/40 amp

OK then... I would take the excellent advice that SparkE gave you and consider using the factory Bolt EVSE (comes with car) and the cars departure based charging feature. Problem solved for very little $$...

    Cheap Ebay Chargers 32/40 amp

When you say "use delayed charging" you understand that you can set the Bolt for departure based charging, and nothing special is required of the EVSE?
