    Bike racks

    I use the Thule "Raceway Pro 2" rack. It fits the Bolt well and is nice and secure. Beware, however, that it (like other racks I assume) will drop your highway mileage substantially. If you can throw the bike inside, it's much more energy efficient.

    Thanks for the replies. I realized that it might be the pedestrian warning when I saw a thread about it. I think I'll leave it engaged now that I know it isn't a defect. Who needs the liability worry?

    My new Bolt emits a low metallic noise, like two metal plates rubbing against each other, when I engage Drive or Reverse. Is this normal or should it be absolutely quiet when stopped and in Drive or Reverse? Thanks!
