    Windshield not defogging properly

From the manual, page 306: "Cleaning the windshield with water during the first three to six months of ownership will reduce tendency to fog." I've no idea how this would help, but perhaps worth trying!

    Remote start not working

Interesting, because voice-activation actually does work on my tablet with google directions without WiFi.

    Remote start not working

I meant to say 'music from a USB stick'.

    Remote start not working

I don't have a Bolt yet, but I gather from what you've said that I could also download directions at home, display the route through AndroidAuto on the car screen without wifi, and simultaneously play music from a USB? I'm asking because, while I could use a portable router to connect, I don't...

    Winter Tires & Wheels

OK - thanks. I might go with generic sensors, though I see SeanNelson mentioned they might have to be configured with a special tool (not the relearn tool). Will google for a better price on the relearn tool.

    Winter Tires & Wheels

I must have been looking at the wrong tool, one listed on the GM site for $968 CND. Where did you see it listed for $30?

    Winter Tires & Wheels

I certainly won't buy the tool!

    Winter Tires & Wheels

See pages 280-281 in the manual under TPMS Sensor Matching Process.

    Winter Tires & Wheels

Thanks again. Sounds like GM sensors would be the simplest route.

    Winter Tires & Wheels

Thanks for the responses. I expect to have a Bolt by the spring and will be purchasing extra rims for snows, though likely not through my dealership. I was also planning to change/rotate tires at home, but if I want TPMS to continue working, the dealership will still have to match the sensor...

    Winter Tires & Wheels

You may well be right and if so, we'd at least have more choice buying tires and rims! GM parts can be quite pricey. But could not following their recommendations also affect warranty coverage?

    Winter Tires & Wheels

Just wondering what others might think about the following statements in the manual. Is there some legitimacy, or is GM mostly attempting to increase profit? Page 284: "If the vehicle tires must be replaced with a tire that does not have a TPC Spec number, make sure they are the same size, load...

    Bose Question

A GM agent just informed me the Bose premium speaker system is now standard on the 2018 Premier.

    Bose Question

I've ordered a 2018 Premier and am being told by my dealer that the Infotainment Package, listed as a $565 CAD option on the Chevrolet "Build and Price" site (for the 2017 Premier - 2018s aren't yet listed online) is actually included as a standard feature in the Premier. Could others confirm...

    2018 Bolt Release Date

I just learned 2018 Bolts are now in production and have been available for order since January 1st. It's also rumoured the 2018 production run could be as short as two months and that production of 2019s (with 80 kWh battery pack) could start as early as April...

Front Seats in Premier vs LT

OK, I'm convinced as well. Hopefully 2018s will have consistently good padding.

Front Seats in Premier vs LT

Here's one of the posts suggesting differences in seat construction might be related to the model, but I'm still hopeful it's random: http://www.mychevybolt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=5775

Front Seats in Premier vs LT

It makes sense that it wouldn't be related to the model. Certainly what I was hoping! Thanks.

Front Seats in Premier vs LT

I'm leaning to the purchase of a Premier, in part because of the leather seats in one color. But I've come across a few posts suggesting the front seats in the LT are more comfortable than the Premier's because they have thicker or firmer padding. (Perhaps this variation in construction isn't...
