I'm curious to know how you tap into the traction battery. The 12V battery gets replenished by the traction battery. According to Chevrolet, the maximum rate is 1600 watts, which is good for running most all of your 120V appliances, 1 at a time, for days.

That's helpful but I'm still confused. This Supercharger closest to me was installed this year: https://www.plugshare.com/location/543292 . According to plugshare, it's 250kw and V3, but according to the photos you linked, it's V2.

Then the question becomes how to distinguish the newer ones from the older. To my eye, they look the same and they have the same 250kw rating.

My understanding is that the new adapters will allow use of the newer Tesla Superchargers but not the older ones.

Dave, thanks for your reply. Somewhere I read that the top and bottom "ends" of the battery are hidden from us, so we can never really charge the battery to 100% or deplete it to 0%. Do you know anything about this? Also, I thought that the battery conditioning system would operate regardless...
