Need Results of Removing Front Licence Plate Holder

I want to remove the front Licence plate holder. I understands that the bolts need to be drilled out. Has anyone removed this successfully and what does it look like? Is it clean underneath? How big are the holes in the grill? Help please.

Yeah, I had already seen that thread. It tells me how to remove the bolts, but not what taking the license plate holder off looks like. That is, what does the underneath look like when a part that was not supposed to be removed is removed? Is the area around the holder or beneath it scarred, etc.? No one on that thread has updated to say whether it look good after removal.
