Re: So are we all going to end up buying our cars after our leases are up?

Does any Bolt EV leasee here have any experience with negotiating a year extension to their existing lease; whether GM Financial or otherwise? For the right amount, I may just do that and wait out the 2020 release of the newer long-range EVs. I called "Gm Financial leasing", my lease comp...

Re: Infotainment dead!

I have seen the same thing about 3 times in 19 months. If you do nothing the watchdog timer in the Infotainment system appears to reboot itself after about 3 min. During that same time period, I have had to reboot my phone for some random glitch about 20 times ;-)

Re: Delayed charging just defaults to next day

In my experience you can set different times to be ready each day of the week but it always assumes that if you plug it in you want it charged by the following day at the specified time. If your objective, like some, is to not charge to full but leave the vehicle plugged in for battery conditioning ...

Re: Bolt winter performance, an ICE comparison

Thank you, Oilerlord. I'm going to be posting here less, now that I'm sure I'll be leasing a 2018 Leaf rather than a 2017 Bolt, but it's hard to resist talking about things that are applicable to all EVs. Like this: I have the same setup at home and i'm convinced that most people that are desiring ...

Re: What MPGe are you getting?

Just reviewed my lifetime Avg. Using https://my.chevrolet.com/ it reports Lifetime = 32 Kwh/100 mi at about 15k miles since June 2017. Spirited driving style, cabin temp of 74 in the winter, and frequent use of the heated seats and heated steering wheel. 3370 / 32 = 105.3MPGe The web site updates th...

Re: CCS Network

I don't know about NYPA's plans. I mean, I want to believe them, but they don't have good track record . Plus, their map lists every thruway rest stop as a given ("existing or planned") yet nothing has happened on the thruway in well over a year. If that maps does come to fruition by 2020...

Re: Level 2 charger

Thank you for those links. They did not show up in the search I did. My caution relates to the warning here: http://evseupgrade.com/?main_page=faq_info&fcPath=4&faqs_id=24 I do understand that they are not specifically referring to the EVSE Chevrolet ships. Correct. They are in the business...
