Re: New DC chargers in Tacoma

If Chargepoint and Plugshare wanted to be more useful, they should make listing the charge-rate of DC stations mandatory. The ChargePoint app lists the charge rate for all ChargePoint DCFCs. Yeah, but it's annoying to have to dive into individual charging network apps when you're planning a trip. I...

Re: Hello from ChargePoint!

Since the Chargepoint app can see SOC%, why isn't there a setting to terminate charging at certain SOC% ? may be there is, and I just haven't figured it out ? Thanks If you're using a public ChargePoint station you should receive a notification when you're full (https://www.chargepoint.com/support/...

Re: Hello from ChargePoint!

How accurate is the kWh reported by a Chargepoint station? Is it kWh delivered to the car, or is it adjusted for some charging efficiency estimate? If adjusted, by what percentage? Hi! All of our products are accurate to less than 1 watt. It's a measure of how much “power” has passed through the st...

Thanks! Are you able to combine posts? They didn't finish their reporting until end of last week so we didn't want to share it until it was finished. :)

Re: EV Sales Report & Scorecard

The InsideEV's sales scorecard is out! They recently changed to a quarterly update and just finished updating the report this week. According to InsideEV's, July marked the 34th month of consecutive year-over-year monthly sales gains for plug-in vehicles. They estimated a total of 29,514 plug-in ele...

Re: EVgo DC chargers were horrible until ...

I would also appreciate some additional detail. When ChargePoint 'forum user' says "all ChargePoint DCFC stations on I-5", does that mean all the stations in the CEC plan, from Yreka in the North (near the Oregon border) down to Santa Clarita in the south? If so, there appear to be 16 new...

Re: Do not use EVgo fast chargers. No, seriously. Just don't.

Hi!
We expect all ChargePoint DCFC stations on I-5 to be active by October 2018!
We shared that news in our main thread, however, I am not able to share any further updates at this time. :)

Here's that post here in the forum: http://www.mychevybolt.com/forum/viewto ... 400#p31400

Re: Do not use EVgo fast chargers. No, seriously. Just don't.

Of the four ChargePoint stations between here and Monterey, only 1 was working and it happens to be the one at the beginning of my trip so it's essentially useless for most trips when I can start off full. This time I happened to not be full, so it helped. I like ChargePoint's rate schedule and unl...

Re: Question: Ever been ICE'd?

Well, this isn't "ICEd" - it's worse. The parking garages at SFO (San Francisco airport) have quite a few EV charging spots. They are *always* taken, by EVs that are either fully charged, or NOT PLUGGED IN. I complain every time I got to SFO, but nothing has been changed. (My guess is tha...

Re: Question: Ever been ICE'd?

The other day I came up to a new dual ChargePoint (dual 30 ampere unit), where there was an old LEAF that had finished charging, and also a new FORD ENERGI (the ones with 15 miles of AER or whatever), WITH TWO TEENS awake in the car. - I nicely asked them if they wouldn't mind moving their car so t...
